We offer prescription collection and delivery service to residents local to our pharmacies. We will happily collect your prescription from your local GP surgery, order your medications and deliver them direct to your door at a convenient time.
All you need to do is call into your local pharmacy and complete a simple form to authorise us to collect your prescriptions. Then simply let us know whenever you have instructed your GP for a new prescription and we will take care of the rest.
We will call you and let you know when your medications are ready and you can let us know when and where you'd like them delivered.
The Electronic Presciption Service (EPS) is an NHS service. It gives you the chance to change how your GP sends your prescription to the place you choose to get your medicines or appliances from.
You need to choose a place for your GP practice to electronically send your prescription to. This is called nomination.
Ask any pharmacy or dispensing appliance contractor that offers EPS or your GP practice to add your nomination for you. You don’t need a computer to do this.
Yes you can. If you don’t want your prescription to be sent electronically tell your GP. If you want to change or cancel your nomination speak to any pharmacist or dispensing appliance contractor that offers EPS, or your GP practice.
Yes. Your electronic prescription will be seen by the same people in GP practices, pharmacies and NHS prescription payment and fraud agencies that see your paper prescription now.
If you like the sound of EPS or have any more questions then you can speak to your local Kays pharmacist or use the form below to contact us.
Our pharmacies all have seperate rooms allowing you to speak privately with a pharmacist. Pharmacists are trained extensively in matters of healthcare and medication and can advise on a huge range of issues without the need to visit other healthcare professionals such as your GP.
We can even offer routine health checks, looking at your blood pressure, weight / BMI and blood sugar.
Our pharmacists can review your medication and offer advice and information on issues such as side effects and withdrawl.
