Our Prescription Dispensing Service
We work with the Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), which means your GP can send your prescription directly to us electronically – no paper required.
We dispense a full range of medications including:

Routine repeat prescriptions for long-term conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, asthma and thyroid disorders

Acute prescriptions for short-term treatments and infections

Controlled drugs - dispensed safely and in accordance with NHS regulations

Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS) - blister-packed medication trays for patients who need help managing complex medication schedules
To nominate one of our pharmacies, simply ask a member of our team in store, or request it through your GP practice or the NHS App.

The Electronic Prescription Service
We are fully registered with the NHS Electronic Prescription Service (EPS), which allows your GP practice to send prescriptions to us digitally. This means:

Prescription delivery service
We understand that getting to the pharmacy isn’t always easy – whether due to a busy schedule, limited mobility, illness or caring responsibilities. That’s why we offer a prescription delivery service, bringing your medication directly to your door.
To arrange prescription delivery, contact your nearest branch and a member of our team will be happy to set this up for you. We’ll take care of everything, from receiving your prescription electronically to getting your medication safely to your door.

How to make us your nominated pharmacy
Have your prescription sent directly from your GP to one of our pharmacies. Our pharmacists will arrange your medication for collection or we can deliver to your door.
Option 1
Via the NHS app or Patient Access
NHS App/Website: Log in, click “Prescriptions,” and select “Choose a pharmacy” then “Local pharmacy”. Enter the postcode of your local Kays Pharmacy.
London Road: L3 8JA
Netherley: L25 2XE
Belle Vale: L27 7AF
Patient Access: In the Account section, select “Nominated pharmacy,” search for your preferred location, and select “Agree”.
Option 2
In person at your GP or pharmacy
Visit any of our pharmacies or your GP surgery and inform them that you’d like Kays to be your chosen Pharmacy.
Our location in Belle Vale and Netherley health centres make us the perfect choice for patients of those surgeries.
